'The Mermaid at Lyme Bay' is an illustrated poem about a very crafty Devonian mermaid called Roze-Mary. She desires to change into a human alongside offering to help humans make the seas clean. The story is illustrated with collages made with materials from Lyme Bay and the house in Budleigh salterton where the author and artist Jo Talbot Bowen lives and works.
